Valentine's Day Gifts to Buy in Eldersburg and Carroll County

Ava’s Flowers in Sykesville offers traditional red roses as well as a bouquet of multi-colored roses for $59.99.

Hutchinson’s Flowers, located at 1343 Liberty Rd in Sykesville, offers a “Deal of the Day” on their website that allows you to pick your occasion, recipient and price range to help narrow down the best choice for your sweetheart.

Metzler’s Flowers at 935 West Liberty Rd. provides an entire webpage of Valentine’s Day Best Sellers to choose from including “Love’s Destiny Bouquet” for $64.95.

Rippel’s Florist located at 1519 Liberty Rd. features a “Teleflora Heart Strings” bouquet complete with a heart charm around the vase for $44.95.

Chocolates

You can’t go wrong at the Treat Shop Factory at 15 South Cranberry Rd. where they offer all things made from, covered with and dipped in chocolate (white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate). Gifts can be customized and built to fit any price range.

Guilianova's Groceria at 11 East Main St. is hand-making chocolate covered long-stemmed Driscoll strawberries injected with Grand Marnier as well as dark chocolate dipped cherries marinated in Jamaican rum and other’s marinated in Jack Daniels.

Jewelry

Miki’s Treasures at 1532 Liberty St in Eldersburg has offered rings, diamonds, gems gold and more since 1978 and would be happy to help you pick the perfect gift for your Valentine.

Owner/operator Janet and her staff at Starfire Designs, Inc. are located in the Princess Shopping Center at 1207 Liberty Rd, Suite 1109 in Eldersburg.  Starfire Designs, Inc. offers all traditional jewelry services and also specializes in transforming existing jewelry into new designs for your loved one to wear in memory of a special Valentine’s Day.  

A La Mode Boutique is located at 7546 Main St in Sykesville.  Now through Feb. 14th the store is featuring heart crystal stud earrings ($12 value) free with any $40 in store purchase, while supplies last.  Owner Chris McCaslin also points out that a line that is especially popular around Valentine’s Day is their Silver Spoon Jewelry.

“We are now featuring several of their heart bracelets, necklaces, and earrings in the store. The jewelry is made from authentic flatware making each piece unique,” McCaslin says.

Dinner Date

Want to treat your significant other to a dinner out? Here are some ideas.

All of the following restaurants expect to be busy on Valentine’s Day and encourage you to make reservations right away.

Cobblestone Tavern and Grille is offering half-priced bottles of wine under $40.
