Things to Do in Carroll County This Weekend: Nov. 18-20

Shop for holiday crafts, visit the train show and search for elves in Taneytown.

Search for the elves while visiting the shops in Downtown Taneytown. Stop to enjoy the lunch special at Country Kitchen and continue your journey to the Taneytown Museum for a Grand Prize Drawing at 5 p.m. The First Annual Elf Hunt takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Liberty High School Instrumental Music Boosters present the 26th Annual Fall Craft Fair featuring over 170 vendors. The fair takes place at Liberty High School on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $3 and ages 5 and under are free.

Shop the many craft vendors at the Carroll County Agriculture Center in the Shipley Arena while waiting for Santa to arrive by helicopter on Saturday, Nov. 19 to have pictures taken with the children. The Santa's Christmas Craft Show is being held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the show is $3.

The Great Westminster Train Show featuring toy train displays, and a sale area for enthusiasts is being held at the Carroll County Agriculture Center Sunday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $4 and food will be available.

The South Carroll Senior Center is hosting a Holiday Craft Bazaar featuring gifts, crafts and decorations on Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. After shopping through the many offerings stop and enjoy lunch. All proceeds will benefit the South Carroll Senior Center.
