The Sykesville Main Street Organization Committee will be holding an open house for volunteers on Saturday, November 19, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sykesville Town House.

The organization is looking for Volunteers, Scout Troops and High School Students who need service learning hours to help with the beautification of Main Street, Merry Main Street, the Art and Wine Festival, the Chili Cookoff and Microbrew Festival, Christmas in July and more.

3. Sunny Skies in the Forecast

4. It's Teen Volunteer Tuesday

The is holding a today for ages 12 through 17 starting at 6 p.m. Volunteers will earn service hours for preparing carfts for storytime, pulling library materials from the shelves and assisting with special projects.

5. Mark Your Calendar for Small Business Saturday
