"With the economy the way it is, I'm quite happy for Half Price Burger Night (Tues) at GL Shacks. We gather the whole extended family, get a big table (that's right - it's us AGAIN) and chat the early evening away. Best way to keep in touch with everyone."

Brittany Hoke:

"I'm thankful for the safe community and for the growth and development of Eldersburg. As a college student, I am very thankful for the library and Dunkin Donuts!"

George Welty:

"I enjoy life in Eldersburg including spending time with family at local events like the Sykesville carnival, festivals and school functions. Valerie mentioned Liberty, but we like to head to Morgan Run to reflect on life, big cities are close by, but peaceful living in Eldersburg. Besided Beck and Panera, also Country Wine Pub and Baldwin's. Ther is also hearing the train whistle as the train goes through Sykesville."

Ross Dangel:

"Well, I'm thankful for Patch! In this day and age when so few people read newspapers and likely fewer still really know what's going on around our community (or in our county in general), it's great to have a news source dedicated almost exclusively to our community. You write very well, Valerie (and Michelle) and you do a great job investigating the story behind the stories. You format is top notch and you provide an important unfiltered outlet for the community to weigh in on any issue you cover. You have always been open to suggestions about what to cover and you are seemingly always available. My one question is do you ever sleep? You are often posting stuff at 2 and 3 am! Have a great Thanksgiving holiday with your family Valerie!"
