Kathy:

"I Totally agree with this conclusion. Wish we could walk up and down Libert Road. Imagine the benefits....we could walk to shops, restaurants, jobs and friends."

Rick:

"Urban sprawl at its worst. Continuous traffic lights and no sidewalks. Strip malls with empty leases. Having to drive all over the place to sports fields. 'Bike Lanes' only for those with a death wish. The list seems endless and it's heading right on out toward Rt 97.

"Anyone been caught up in the gridlock at the White Rock Rd. traffic light yet? College students and future leaders should come here to see how NOT to do it. Carroll County planning committees and zoning boards of the past 30 years, shame on you all. You let money and developers push you around and look at the result. I thought close-by Randallstown was the epitome of urban sprawl but at least they have sidewalks!"

Dennis Morgan:

"No bike lanes or trails either. Bummer."

Nancy Malm Tipton:

"Carroll County is a rural county. Comparing it to Baltimore, Annapolis or Takoma Park is not fair. I live in Carroll County because it is not any of the above locations. I can walk to a school, several stores, get ice cream or snow cone and even the library."

Kelli Nelson:

"While no place is perfect and living here we forego certain conveniences, the pros (i.e. schools, community, neighbors) far exceed the cons (i.e. congestion, higher property taxes, violent crime rates)."
