The web phenomenon inspired by a young teen from Ellicott City with brain cancer is sweeping the nation.

Zach Lederer from Ellicott City jokes he was a little “drugged up” when, in his hospital bed, he lifted his arms in a strongman pose, stared resolutely ahead and allowed himself to be photographed.

But this simple movement has gone viral, with people across the nation showing their support for the young teen suffering from brain cancer by raising their arms and "Zaching."

In the photo above, local sports team the Eldersburg Bandits, are seen raising their arms during a recent practice.
