A Sweet Soiree Cabaret

SYKESVILLE - Sit back, relax and enjoy scenes and songs from the movies you love presented by the South Carroll High School Stagelighters at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13-14 as the drama club presents "A Sweet Soiree Cabaret," at South Carroll High.

What goes great with an evening of songs? An evening of sweet desserts to go along with it, of course! While the Stagelighters perform, audiences are welcomed to enjoy a dessert buffet.

The evening of songs and skits with a movie theme will act as a fundraiser for the newly-formed South Carroll Drama Boosters.

"A cabaret is a fun way for students to come together with pieces they don't get to perform in a typical show scenario," said Caitlin Adolph, co-advisor to the Stagelighters Drama Club. "This is especially true with the theme of Movies through the Ages - they have the opportunity to perform movie scenes and songs that are out of their comfort zone. It's an adventure!"
