Book Signing

Local author, Don Riley, has written a memoir of his experience growing up in Baltimore during the 1930s and 1940s with his friend, Charlie and their continuing friendship.
A book signing event is scheduled at the Fairhaven Retirement Community on Third Avenue in Sykesville on Saturday, 21 September from 2 - 4 P.M. in Johnzies Lounge (next to the Chapel). A special showing of Fairhaven's new model railroad layout will be available to guests. Later the book will be sold at the Gift Shop at Cockey's, 210 E. Main Street in Westminster.
The 103 page paperback includes illustrations and sells for $10.00 including tax. The author will donate all income from book sales to The Historical Society of Carroll County.
