Carroll Hospital Center launches new stroke support group

To assist stroke survivors and increase stroke awareness, Carroll Hospital Center is launching a new stroke support group this month.

The support group will take place the second Wednesday of each month and will feature guest speakers, including neurologist Sandra Ruby, M.D., registered nurses and physical therapists, who will provide educational presentations on various stroke-related topics. Attendees also can share their experiences and receive encouragement and advice.

The sessions are free and open to stroke survivors, their caregivers, family and friends, and residents wanting to learn more about the condition.
