Carroll Hospital Center to host Pink Fling Luncheon, Sunday, October 27 at The Portico

To honor breast cancer survivors and recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Carroll Hospital Center is hosting its annual Pink Fling Luncheon, on Sunday, October 27 at The Portico at St. John Catholic Church in Westminster, Md. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the keynote presentation at 11:30 a.m., and lunch served at noon. All proceeds benefit Carroll Hospital Center’s new Center for Breast Health through The WISH Fund.

This year’s event will feature an engaging presentation from keynote speaker Joe Mechlinski. A Baltimore native, Mechlinski is a community advocate, speaker, entrepreneur and author whose debut book, Grow Regardless, became an instant New York Times, USA Today, Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble, bestseller.

The Center for Breast Health is Carroll Hospital Center’s latest venture to provide breast cancer patients with comprehensive care. Located on the second floor of the Fisher Medical Building, the center provides breast cancer patients with a distinguished medical team, leading technologies and educational resources to guide patients through the logistics of a cancer diagnosis and treatment including a breast health navigator, radiologists, a breast surgeon and plastic surgeon who specializes in breast reconstruction.
