This is a free, family-friendly community event that will feature entertainment, family-fun, food, face painting, free health information, free health screenings, like blood pressure, BMI and vision; and free massages.
Sponsors of the event are Freedom Fitness, Freedom Area Recreation Council, Carroll County Recreation and Parks; Innovative Security; Howard County General Hospital; and Bath Fitters.
Salerno’s catering of Sykesville will be offering food for the event, with a portion of the proceeds being donated back to FARC programs. Some of the menu items include Salerno’s famous shrimp salad wraps, grilled chicken Caesar salads, sliced pit turkey sandwiches, and bottled water.

The performance schedule includes: Freedom Area Recreation Council’s own “Stepping Stars” dance group; ZUMBA! Fitness and ZUMBA! Toning demonstrations; ballroom dance; Freedom Fitness’ dance and step aerobics groups; martial arts; Freedom Fire Stars Baton; and ZumbAtomic Fitness for kids.
