Rub Out the Debt with Massage Therapy

Massage Therapists at Therapeutic Kneads Wellness Center in Eldersburg, Maryland pledge to Rub Out America’s National Debt and Celebrate America by donating 50 cents from every massage on Presidents’ Day weekend (February 16, 2013) to retire America’s National Debt. You can pitch in, too!

Drop off your penny jar at Therapeutic Kneads Wellness Center (Harpers Square 1522 Liberty Road Suite B, Eldersburg, Maryland 21784 phone: 410-549-7711) on February 16, 2013, between 10am and 2pm and meet Mr. Penny and have your photo taken with Mr. Penny to be posted on www.mrpenny.net and all pennies will be forwarded to the Bureau of the Public Debt.

Mr. Penny demonstrates the Power of Choice in action in local author Lucile McConnell’s new book, Mr. Penny and the Dragon of Domeville: The Story of Us. She proclaims 2013 “The Year of the Citizen” to launch her new book. McConnell wrote the allegorical tale of Mr. Penny to heighten citizen awareness of a federal statue Public Law 87-58 (P.L. 87- 58), signed by President Kennedy in 1961 “to empower all citizens to participate in the great undertaking of retiring America’s National Debt.” “Mr. Penny’s mission is to rally citizens of all ages to come together and voluntarily retire America’s National Debt,” says McConnell. “Citizens have the power now to care for one the biggest problems facing America – our National Debt…they just need to know about it!” McConnell will be on hand at Therapeutic Kneads with Mr. Penny to sign copies of Mr. Penny and the Dragon of Domeville. McConnell will donate all proceeds from the sale of Mr. Penny’s story to retire the National Debt. “This is the little book that could,” says McConnell.
