Relay For Life 2014 Kickoff!!

The combined committees of the Freedom Area and Westminster Relay For Life will be holding a fun and inspirational Kickoff Event on 1/16 at the Sykesville Freedom District Fire House 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Come and enjoy family-oriented activities to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back against cancer. We will be learning about the Relay event and the mission of the American Cancer Society and enjoying fun activities.

Relay For Life is the key fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is an overnight event where teams walk in relay-fashion to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and it's many services and research endeavors.

During the event, those effected by cancer are remembered in a moving Luminaria ceremony. Games, music, food and fun are enjoyed by all.
