Carroll County Sheriff's Deputies Search For Suspect in 7-Eleven Robbery

The robbery took place Friday evening in Finksburg.

Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven in Finksburg and fled the scene on foot Friday evening, according to a press release. 

At approximately 7:03 p.m. Friday, Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a hold-up alarm at the 7-Eleven convenience store located in the 2100 block of Sandymount Road Finksburg.

The initial investigation revealed that prior to the alarm a man entered the store and demanded money, according to the release.

Feeling threatened, the cashier provided the suspect with cash from the register.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a dark colored ski mask, dark jacket, dark pants and white tennis shoes. The suspect also had his hands covered with dark gloves.

No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
