Driver Taken to Shock Trauma Following Sykesville Collision

A collision near the intersection of Freedom Avenue and Route 32 in Sykesville sent one to Shock Trauma Monday.

A driver who hit an embankment in Sykesville Monday was taken to Shock Trauma as a precaution, according to Maryland State Police.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Freedom Avenue and Route 32, according to police.

Rain and wet road conditions could have contributed to the accident, according to police. Alcohol is not a factor in the collision.
