Police Continue Search for Robbery Suspect

Police continue search for man who robbed a roadside produce stand Saturday.

The Carroll County sheriff’s office is still trying to figure out who robbed a roadside produce stand on the 400 block of East Main Street Saturday afternoon.

According to a press release, sheriff's detectives continue to look for a white male in this late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6 feet tall, with short dark hair and a scar on his right cheek. 

The suspect, who was wearing sunglasses, a dark colored t-shirt and sweat pants approached a lone Kern’s Produce employee, pressed a dark colored handgun against the employee’s neck and demanded money, according to the press release.

No one was injured and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
