26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies, Bike Hits Oncoming Car on Rt. 32

Police continue to investigate the accident.

A Hanover man is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle Sunday night and crashed into another vehicle in Eldersburg, according to police. 

Corey Springman, 26, may have "popped a wheelie" before his Yamaha motorcycle crashed on Rt. 32 near Arlington Drive just after 8 p.m., police said. He crossed the center line, according to the report, and crashed into an oncoming Honda Accord driven by Sarah Elizabeth Conner, 53, of Reisterstown. 

Springman was pronounced dead at the scene. Connor was not injured, police said.

Route 32 was closed for more than two hours while police investigated. Police continue to investigate.
