UPDATE: Police Find Missing Man in Sykesville

A 60-year-old with a disorienting medical condition went missing at about 6:30 a.m. Monday.

(UPDATED, 11:05 a.m., 6/13) -- Howard County Police have found Bruce Howard Lovelett, 60, who was considered a missing person after he was last seen at about 6:30 a.m. Monday walking along Route 32 near Route 99 in Sykesville.

"He was located not far from his home in good condition," said Sherry Llewellyn of the Office of Public Affairs.

HCPD updated its Facebook page with the information Tuesday, she said.

"Lovelett suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to be confused about his location and surroundings," a statement to the media said. "Police are concerned for his welfare."

Police described Lovelett as a white male with gray hair and a long grey beard, 5-feet 9-inches tall, 180 pounds. He wears wire-rimmed glasses and is likely wearing a blue and green striped, short-sleeved shirt and faded blue jeans, police said.

Police said Lovelett was likely still in the area.
