Ravens Player Reported to be Involved in Car Crash on Liberty Road

No one was injured in the car crash, fire Thursday.

Maryland State Police Troopers are investigating a car crash and collision that forced Maryland State Police to close part of Liberty Road Thursday morning, according to the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department

Baltimore Ravens safety Haruki Nakamura was driving an SUV involved in the crash, according to an article by the Carroll County Times. 

Firefighters from the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department responded to a car crash at 9:15 a.m. Thursday morning in the 2100 block of Liberty Road.

When they arrived on the scene, a car was on fire in the westbound lane, according to the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department. 

The car had run into the back of an SUV and later caught on fire. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

Firefighters were on location for less than 30 minutes. The Maryland State Police are investigating the incident.
