Westminster Resident Victim of Home Invasion, Stabbing

Victim was sent to Shock Trauma and released.

State police are reporting that last night at approximately 8:36 p.m., they responded to a home in the 400 block of London Court in Westminster for a reported stabbing.

According to a news release, the victim said she was in the shower when an unknown intruder, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black ski mask, attacked her.  

During a struggle, the victim received a laceration to her abdomen. Reportedly, the suspect fled the home and the victim went to a neighbor's house. The victim was transported by air to Shock Trauma where she was treated and released.

The news release reports that the victim described the suspect as a white male approximately six feet tall.

The Westminster Barrack Criminal Investigation Section is investigating the incident.  Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Trooper First Class Mike Winkelspecht at 410-386-3000.
