Woman Who Embezzled Money From South Carroll High School Sentenced

Wendy Sue Bowers was sentenced to jail for failing to pay restitution, according to the Carroll County Times.

A woman who embezzled money from South Carroll High School in 2006 was sentenced to jail for failing to pay restitution, according to an article by the Carroll County Times. 

Wendy Sue Bowers, 43, was sentenced to 18 months in jail with the possibility of work release, according to the article. 

Bowers pleaded guilty to felony theft scheme for stealing $228,000 from South Carroll High School and was originally sentenced to 5 years in jail with all but 15 months suspended, according to the article.
