In the above audio clip posted on the Carroll County Government website, Commissioner Haven Shoemaker takes to the mic in the weekly address broadcast on Sunday mornings.
Commissioner Shoemaker, District 2, talks about the controversial media contract in his report.
"I'm hard pressed to believe that it (the position) has to accompany a six figure plus price tag, particularly when we have highly educated and capable folks who are already on the county payroll who can serve that function more than adequately," said Shoemaker.
Commissioner Robin Frazier, District 1, will give the address on this Sunday's edition of "The Commissioners’ Report" on WTTR.
