Commissioners to Host Plan Maryland Forum

The public is invited to attend the August 29 meeting.

The Carroll County Commissioners will be hosting a forum to discuss Plan Maryland on Monday, Aug. 29.  

Representatives from the Maryland Department of Planning, the County Department of Land Use, Planning and Development and municipalities throughout Carroll have been invited to present, according to a news release.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Brief presentations will be made by each organization and interested citizens will be provided with an opportunity to comments.

Questions should be submitted in writing and may be sent in advance via e-mail to Commissioners@ccg.carr.org.   

According to the news release, the commissioners want to hear from all of the invited parties in order to deliver "well researched and well thought-out comments on the Plan Maryland concept, reflecting the concerns and best interest of Carroll County" to the Office of the Governor .

The forum will be held at Carroll Community College, Building K, Room 100 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
