Delegate Krebs Awards Scholarships to Local Students

Delegate Susan Krebs awarded 25 scholarships to local students.

Delegate Susan Krebs has awarded in-state scholarships to 25 students in her legislative district. Awards ranged from $1,000 to $3,000.

Money for the scholarships comes from the Delegate Scholarship Program, created by the General Assembly in 1957 for students who plan to attend colleges, universities, or career schools in Maryland, according to a news release.

“These students demonstrated a commitment to learn, lead, and give back to the community. I have no doubt that they will go on to do great things,” Krebs said.
