Board of License Commissioners Public Hearing

On October 12, 2011, beginning at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, the Board of License Commissioners will hold public hearings in the Public Hearing Room 003/004 (lower level) of the Carroll County Office Building, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157, for the following cases and any other official business:

  • 10 a.m.: Case 5613, Application of Steven Tiedemann for the use of GT Westminster, LLC, for the transfer of the existing Class BC – Beer, Wine and Liquor License issued to Lilia Kai Poldmae and Edward S. Treadwell for the use of Westminster Greene Turtle, LLC, t/a The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille, 830 Market Street, Westminster, in Election District 7. The license authorizes the holder to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail, at the place herein described, for consumption on the premises only, but sales of beer and wine for consumption off the premises may be made on any day of the week. All alcoholic beverages may be served at catered events held in Carroll County for on-premises consumption.
  • 11 a.m.: Case 5614, Application of David Scranton to replace Richard Tumsuden on the existing Class B – Beer, Wine and Liquor License issued to Richard Tumsuden and Jay Laurienzo for the use of Laurienzo Restaurants, Inc., t/a Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe, 114 S. Main Street, Mt. Airy, in Election District 13. The license authorizes the holder to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail, at the place herein described, for consumption on the premises only, but sales of beer and wine for consumption off the premises may be made on any day of the week.
  • Noon: Case 5616, Class A – Beer, Wine and Liquor License issued to John L. Hunt and Richard J. Hunt for the use of Titanium Legs, LLC, t/a Stubby’s Main Course, 2825 Baltimore Blvd., Finksburg – Violation Hearing (Rule #7 – Illegal Conduct and Rule #56 – Consumption of Alcohol While Working)

The Board will meet thereafter to discuss in open session any pending or new business.
