Kaboom! Explosives Demo in Sykesville Today
Several explosions will occur at the Driver Training Facility on Slacks Road.
Don't be alarmed if you hear a series of booms coming from the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions Driver Training Facility in Sykesville today.
The Baltimore Field Office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will be conducting an explosives demonstration starting at 1 p.m., facility administrator Dan Dazzo said.
About nine or 10 explosions will occur, with a few minutes of pause in between. The entire demonstration should take about 15 minutes, he said.
