• Commissioners Howard and Roush will be at the Warfield Development Corporation Office in Sykesville.

• Commissioner Frazier will visit Hanes Geo Components in Taneytown for Business Appreciation Week.

• Commissioner Howard will attend the BRAC National Security Agency Meeting in Sykesville.

11 a.m.

• Commissioner Frazier will visit Masterworks Machining in Taneytown for Business Appreciation Week.

• Commissioner Frazier will visit Flowserve in Taneytown for Business Appreciation Week.

• Board of County Commissioners will hold an Open Session in room 311 of the County Office Building with the following agenda items:

1. Bid Approval: Renovation of Third Floor of Library Headquarters
2. Bid Approval: Avamar Backup System
3. Carroll County Farm Museum Discussion
4. Review and Consideration of the Maryland Aviation Administration Award for Funds to Reimburse the County for Expenses Incurred for the Airport Environmental Review

• Commissioners Frazier and Rothschild will attend the Watershed Implementation Plan Symposium at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in St. Michaels, Maryland.

• Commissioner Roush will attend the Open House at Greenvale Mews in Westminster.

• Commissioners Howard, Shoemaker, Frazier and Roush will attend the Recreation & Parks 40th Anniversary Celebration at Winters Mill High School.

Saturday, Oct. 8

9 a.m.

• Commissioner Frazier will host “A Bird’s Eye View with Commissioner Frazier" at the Taneytown Library.

10 a.m.

• Commissioners Shoemaker and Roush will attend the Carroll County Times 100th Anniversary Open House in Westminster.

1 p.m.

• Commissioner Shoemaker will attend the Hampstead Chili Cook-Off.

6 p.m.

• Commissioners Howard and Frazier will attend the Carroll County Recreation & Parks 40th Anniversary Crab Feast in Eldersburg.
