Century High School Homecoming Parade to Close Main Street

The annual parade marches through Main Street Sykesville Monday.

The homecoming parade takes over Main Street Sykesville at 5 p.m. tonight, closing surrounding roads for more than 90 minutes.

The parade will feature the school’s marching band, cheerleaders and floats decorated by the classes and clubs.

The parade will start at Sykesville Middle School, travel down Springfield Avenue, turn left onto Main Street and continue on Main Street until Sandosky Road.

The Sykesville Police Department will be closing Springfield Avenue, Main Street and Sandosky Road until approximately 6:30 p.m.

Parking will not be permitted on Main Street between Church Street and Sandosky Road from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
