Century Band Hosts Home Show, Brings "Knight of Reckoning" to the Field
The Knights welcomed 10 bands to Eldersburg Saturday.
hosted their annual home band show Saturday titled "Knight of Reckoning." The Knights played host to 10 other bands in the USSBA show.
Performing along with the host were Calvert Hall, Urbana, Paint Branch, Broadneck, Leonardtown, Marriotts Ridge, North East, Arundel, Thomas Johnson and Northwest.
Paint Branch won Group 1A with a score of 87.425. They also won the special awards. Century won Group 1 Open with a score of 91.555. The Knights also collected the honors for music, effect, visual, percussion and color guard.

North East won Class 2A with a score of 92.350 and won music, effect, visual and percussion.
Leonardtown was second at 89.650 and won color guard. Calvert Hall took Group 2A Open with a score of 91.525 and won the special awards. Group 3 Open was won by Urbana with a score of 91.575. They also took awards for music, effect and percussion. Second was Northwest at 91.775 and won visual.

Third was Arundel at 90.025 and they captured color guard. Marriotts Ridge was fourth with a score of 88.925. Thomas Johnson took Group 4 and the special awards with the highest score of the night at 95.325. Broadneck was second at 92.500.
The USSBA National Championships are next weekend at the US Naval Academy.
