Curtain Call: 'No More Dead Dogs' at Oklahoma Middle

The drama club will present two performances of the "play within a play" this weekend.

Clear your schedule tonight or tomorrow and head over for a production students have been working on for months.

No More Dead Dogs at Oklahoma Road

  • Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, 7 p.m., : The drama club is currently hard at work perfecting its spring production of the school play No More Dead Dogs, based on the book by Gordon Korman. It is a "play within a play" and a fun story for anyone who has wished for a different ending to the classic dog stories like "Old Yeller" where the dog "always dies in the end.” Oklahoma Road's own Kathleen Ferguson (8th Grade ELA) wrote the screenplay and is also directing. Marie Hawkins (8th Grade Science) and Shelley Grisham (Math Intervention) are managing the stage and props crew.  in the Oklahoma Road Middle School cafeteria and
    Price: Tickets are $6.00 in advance. They will not be sold at the door.
