- Nancy Schmitt: "Felt Worthy"
Sunday, Oct. 23 – Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Gallery in the Scott Center
By combining her fine arts and textile design backgrounds, Schmitt creates unique vessels, wall hangings and wearables made of felted wool. Her passion for working with wool fiber, along with the medium's organic nature, helps her connect the ancient traditions of felt making with modern artistry.
- Candy Aaron Paintings: "It’s in the Details"
Sunday, Oct. 23 – Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Langdon Family Gallery
Aaron is a Carroll student whose work has made amazing progress over a very brief period. Her positive outlook and scrupulous attention to detail amazes her audience and gives credence to the adage, “God is in the details.”

- World AIDS Day
Thursday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Great Hall
Practice "Getting to Zero - Zero AIDS Related Deaths" by visiting the information table in the Great Hall. Also, receive a HIV/AIDS mouth swab test, from the Carroll County Health Department, in A125.
- Leadership Challenge: Etiquette Dinner
Tuesday, Dec. 6, 5 – 7 p.m., $5 (five-course meal included)
Students learn proper dinner etiquette for eating soup, finding the bread plate, understanding the differences between salad and dessert forks, and more. The workshop also covers phone etiquette, interview attire and other helpful information. Students need to register by visiting the Student Life Office in A118.
