Liberty High School's Spring Musical to Start this Month

Find out how you can see performances of Tarzan depicted by Liberty High School students.

Liberty High School drama department students will be putting on a production of Tarzan for their spring musical.

Rated PG, the musical, at Liberty High School on 5855 Bartholow Road in Sykesville, has performance dates on April 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and April 20 and 27 at 2 p.m.

According to the Eldersburg Patch events section, the show will have Cirque du Soleil-style aerial dancing as well as dancing and music by Phil Collins.

“The music is infectious and the costumes are amazing,” wrote Patch user Cindy DeBandi in the Eldersburg Patch Local Voices section. “The kids, who have designed the costumes and sets, are dancing, singing and flying through the jungle (and the audience).”

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door and can be purchased at Liberty High School or online here.
