Liberty High Students Among SkillsUSA Winners
More than 75 students from Carroll County's Career and Technology Center showed off their skills at this state competition.
Carroll County Career and Technology Center students came out on top at the 40th annual SkillsUSA Maryland State Leadership and Skills Championship this month.
Seventy-five Carroll County students competed April 19 and 20 for prizes and a chance to go on to the national and international competition.
State-wide, 1,000 students participated in the competition, designed to "showcase Maryland’s best and brightest career and technology education (CTE) students," according to the Maryland State Department of Education.
