Oklahoma Road Middle School Students Participate in 'Readathon'
The 9th annual event brought 262 middle school students together to share a love for reading.
Several students hit the books last week, participating in the school's 9th annual "readathon."
The school had 262 students participated in the event on Feb. 24, collecting pledges to read for 100 minutes, with the proceeds affording a visit from author Tim Green, former Atlanta Falcon football player and sportscaster, on Wednesday, April 11.
Students also won many door prizes during the event, including a Kindle Touch, an underwater camera, and an iPod Shuffle.
