The Knights topped North Carroll to advance in the 2A West region.

"I figured it would be a tough game. They played us hard all three times. They beat us up there, we beat them here. I think it’s good my kids know what it’s like to win a playoff game," said Beard. The Knights move on in the playoffs to play fourth seeded Middletown next week.

"We play at Middletown, that will be a tough game for us. We played them earlier in the year and they beat us by 22. So our goal is to see if we are a little bit better this time around," said Beard.
