High School Sports: Century Advances to Regional Hockey Final
The Knights blank Rising Sun 6-0.
Century took another step in returning to the state field hockey championship game behind three goals by Kylie Marlo.
The Knights knocked off the visiting Rising Sun Tigers, 6-0. Rising Sun was seeded fourth in the region and finished the season at 7-4-1.
Century plays at home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. for the Class 2A North title. The Knights improved to 11-2 on the season.

The Century passing game was good Monday with Century coach Terry Duryea saying, "we have been working on passing a lot. We really rely on our quickness and passing."
Marlo scored the first goal about eight minutes into the contest on a pass from Casey McCorkell. Her next two goals came in the second half at the 25:38 and 8:48 marks. The goals came from passes from Kailey Wolfe and Taylor Malanik.

Century led at halftime 2-0 with the second goal scored by Wolfe on an assist from Shelby Mercer.
Century scored two other goals in the second half for the final score of 6-0. The other two goals were a sister act as Abby and Allison Remenapp eached scored and assisted each other.
Rising Sun didn’t have a short corner in the game, while the Knights lined up nine times. Century took nine shots in the contest compared to two for the Tigers.
