The second quarter was more of the same as Century kept the pressure on and led 40-20.

The third quarter saw Century put the game away as they outscored the visitors 25-12 for a 32-point lead, 65-33.

"We have been having five guys on the floor who have been scoring for us," said Century coach George Wunder. "We are able to spread the ball around and get contributions from everyone on the court. That makes us hard to guard. Our kids don’t care who is scoring. They just want to win. We have different people scoring on different nights. They are a fun team to watch offensively and defensively."

The Knights went to the bench and got a lot of playing time for the team in the fourth quarter.

"The more guys who can get on the court, the better," said Wunder.

"Some guys got experience tonight that could be useful down the road. We had some key contributions off the bench. I thought Brad MacFee played a great game off the bench. He came in and did a great job defensively, scored some points for us too."

Mitch Sleight led the Knights with 20 points. Joining him in double figures was Michael Austin with 13. Rounding out the scoring for the victors was Evan Fritsche with nine, Billy Dickman, eight; Chris Tan, fine; Drew Clark and Brad MacFee each had four and Mike Ogle had two points.

Century also took the junior varsity contest, 44-39 behind the scoring of Kevin Steadman with nine points, Brad Schuler with 11 and Andy Morris with 15.

Century is back in action next Tuesday as they host their annual holiday tournament.
