Century Girls Out Run the Field at Crossfire Invite

The girls captured the Crossfire Invite at Tuesday afternoon over 14 other teams.

The Knights outran the home team 84 to 94. took fifth with 114 points.

Century was led by senior Katie Todd who finished in seventh place. She was followed by teammates Beth Lang, 12th; Erin Larkin, 15th; Morgan Fagnant, 16th and Rebecca Debinski, 34th.

South Carroll’s Smantha Bingaman was third in the race and Liberty’s Casey Sullivan was fifth.

In the boys race, Century finished sixth, Liberty ninth and South Carroll 10th.

The Knights were led by Patrick Anske with a fifth place finish. Kyle Holmes led Liberty with a 24th place finish. Josh Lockard led South Carroll in 42nd.

Winters Mill won the boys race by placing four runners in the top 17.
