"We have had it happen several years before and we just needed to buckle down and play lacrosse. We love our seniors, but we have to play lacrosse.’’

The Knights came back scoring and led 10-2 at halftime.

Our heads were up," Groves said. "We were challenging and made the defense turn their heads to the ball, and then we had some really good cutters and finishers. We did that well today.

"We have things to improve on because we are going to the bulk of our schedule with North Carroll, Winters Mill, Westminster and McDonogh left, so its going to be really tough games from here on out."
