With sleet and snow pelting the state, baseball season can't come soon enough.

The Baltimore Orioles are increasing the price of season tickets and instituting single-game dynamic pricing, the Baltimore Sun reported.

For the first time in five years, the Orioles will raise season-ticket prices on all plans by an average of about 5 percent. Season-ticket packages for a 13-game plan will start at $168, the newspaper said.

New in the coming season, the Orioles will begin a system of fluctuating prices depending on the demand for a specific game. Fans interested in purchasing single-game tickets to watch the Orioles play teams such as the Yankees and Red Sox will likely rise as the date approaches, the newspaper said.

Before the Orioles put the new pricing in place, single-game tickets were divided into two price categories: regular and high-profile games. But now the tickets will fall under five pricing categories, the Sun said.

These moves come after the Orioles finished this previous season with an average home attendance of 29,105. Out of 30 major league teams, the Orioles average attendance ranked 18th. Single-game tickets are expected to go on sale in January.

Season ticket packages are available on the Orioles website.
