Where to Pick Your Own Apples and Pumpkins in Carroll County

Fall is here, the trees are turning and it's time to go pick your apples and pumpkins. Check out these Carroll County pick-your-own spots.

Pick your own apples and pumpkins at Baugher's on weekends through the end of October. The hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Apples cost $1.29 per pound. Pumpkins cost $.49 per pound. Enjoy apple cider, baked goods, a kids play area and more.

Buppert’s Doran's Chance Farm, 6914 Ridge Rd in Marriottsville, has wagon rides to the Pumpkin Patch for pick your own pumpkins. Back at the market enjoy a picnic & teepee area, meet the family of pygmy goats or explore a corn maze. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Showvaker's Quality Evergreens, 2020 Garrett Rd. in Manchester, offers pick your own pumpkins, fall decorations, hayrides, corn mazes, barnyard zoo and more. Open weekends 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
