I had a very different experience than others at this store. We bought a mattress for our two year old son three weeks ago and he's woken up with a back or neck ache every day since. I asked the manager, Steve, if we could exchange up for a more expensive mattress and was met with an immediate "no" and told they don't have a "comfort exchange" policy. I thought buying a mattress was all about comfort, but apparently they don't believe this to be the case. I didn't see any store policy posted in the store, so just beware that if you aren't happy with your purchase this family owned store doesn't care a bit. I was even met with a sarcastic "Have a nice day" on the way out. Definitely don't recommend doing business with them.

I'm going to have to steal a statement from Cindy McDonald and say that I also never write reviews. But my experience at Magic Mattress was so enjoyable and painless I felt like I had to give credit where credit was due. My husband and I had just moved to the area and decided a new mattress was needed. We hit all the big name stores, not really too seriously just shopping around. Eventually we came upon Magic Mattress (a reccomendation from a friend). When we walked in we were immediatley greeted and when we said we were just shopping around the salesman didn't argue. But every mattress we seemed interested in he was right behind us with a ton of knowledge about every single model. Even when we were looking at a really high price mattress, he turned us away from it because it wouldn't fit our needs. Eventually we settled on a Simmons Beautyrest pillow top and it is the best mattress we have ever owned. I could go on and on all day about how wonderful this store was or I could just tell you to go check it out for yourself!! You will be glad you did!!

I just want to start off by saying I NEVER write reviews. The husband and I have been needing a new bed for the last couple years but just could not afford one. After going to other stores in the area we quickly discovered buying local was the way to go. Our Simmons Beautyrest was about $100 less then the other stores big sale price, the delivery was amazing. Delivered next day and told us exactly when they would come. I would look at the other stores first then go to Magic Mattress; by doing this you will learn the prices are fair, sales staff are not pushy. Great experience!

Shopping for mattresses is a pain, but we had a pleasant experience at Magic Mattress in Eldersburg. The salesman spent a lot of time with us and was extremely patient and informative. There was a good selection to choose from, and prices were reasonable. Delivery was conveniently scheduled. We checked other stores and came back to this one as it was the best, no high pressure sales tactics. I would recommend it to anyone in the area needing a new mattress.
