The mission of the Police and Correctional Training Commissions (PCTC) is "to ensure the quality of law enforcement and correctional services through the establishment and enforcement of standards and the facilitation and delivery of training, education and prevention programs."
PCTC is located in the Public Safety Education and Training Center and administers such programs as driver training, firearms training, the Maryland Community Crime Prevention Institute, the Police Entrance Level Training Program and the Executive Development Institute.
