Oklahoma Road Middle School opened its doors in 1997 and is one of nine middle schools in the Carroll County Public School System. The Maryland School Assessment scores for Oklahoma Road Middle School have consistently been among the highest in the state. The school prides itself on emphasizing learning by practicing "critical, creative, and self-regulated thinking."
