Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department
The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department, founded 45 years ago, is located in south/central Carroll County. Known as Carroll County Station 14, this department currently has approximately 100 active volunteer members and responds to more than 1,200 emergency calls each year. In 2005, the department underwent a $3.2 million renovation and expansion project that took almost two years to complete.
