Lt. Gov. Brown to Speak in Sykesville Friday
Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown will attend a graduation ceremony in Sykesville this Friday, Feb. 8, where he will act as the keynote speaker.
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown will be making an appearance in Sykesville Friday: He is scheduled to speak at the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Entry Level Training Program graduation ceremony. The ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the DPSCS Public Safety Education and Training Center, located at 6852 4th St. on the grounds of the Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville. DPSCS Secretary Gary Maynard will also be speaking. The ceremony will celebrate the graduation of 18 men and women who will be sent to eight state correctional facilities in the Baltimore, Jessup and Sykesville areas, as part of the Public Safety team, according to a news release.
