Will it be the old standby--ham and scalloped potatoes--on Easter this year? Maybe your special contribution is to include some Maryland crabs or other local delicacies. Whether you're traditional or want to try something new, we're told there are plenty of quick and easy ways to get a great meal on the table, even with time running short. On South Cobb, GA, Patch, food columnists John and Patty Gifaldi recommend grilling for a last-minute Easter meal, using chuck roast in a recipe they call "bourbon steak." Eldersburg Church Holds First 'Blessing of the Motorcycles'

The event is open to all area motorcycle owners.

You may have heard of a "blessing of the pets" at area churches, or maybe a "blessing of the backpacks," but one local church is going a step further with a first annual "blessing of the motorcycles."  Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church in Eldersburg is holding a special event at noon on April 22, and is inviting local motorcycle riders to consider attending for a blessing for safe riding this spring.  "Each year, at the start of spring, you can hear and see the numerous motorcycles and riders stretching their legs. It’s almost like a 'rite of spring' along with the new buds and flowers," said Wesley outreach chairman Joe Cathey. "Perhaps, this is a way to have God watch over the riders." Senior pastor Rev.
