County School CIO Recognized with Award for Innovation

He was recently selected to receive a SmartCXO Award by SmartCEO magazine

Gary Davis, Chief Information Officer for Carroll County Public Schools, was recently selected to receive a SmartCXO Award by SmartCEO magazine.  Davis was selected in the CIO/CTO Category in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area for his contributions to the executive management team of Carroll County Public Schools, according to a press release.     The SmartCXO awards applaud local executives in both the private and public sectors for work in their organization’s initiatives. Davis will be recognized in the March 2012 edition of Baltimore SmartCEO magazine and at a reception with more than 300 local business and public sector leaders in Baltimore.      Davis was recognized for his approach to his tenure as CIO at Carroll County Public Schools…
