Update: Liberty High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat
The school was evacuated to the football field at 9:30 Tuesday morning.
Updated 1:30 p.m. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that it is continuing the investigation into a bomb threat at Liberty High School this morning. At approximately 9:30 a.m., Carroll County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Crime Scene Technicians, and the Explosive Detection Canine responded to Liberty High School in Eldersburg for a bomb threat. The threat was a written on a wall of the school, according to the release. Upon their arrival, the building had already been evacuated under the direction of school officials. A thorough search of the building was conducted by Canine Units from both the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police.
