Sheriff Deputies Capture Thief During Early Morning Spree in Eldersburg
The Marriottsville man is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on charges including auto theft, theft and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
Police said they captured a Marriottsville man Friday morning who is accused of stealing a vehicle and $6,000 worth of hunting rifles and equipment in Eldersburg. Allen James Harmer, 21, of Marriottsville, was arrested and charged early Friday morning by Sheriff’s Deputies in the theft of a Toyota RAV 4 and approximately $6,000 of hunting rifles and other hunting equipment taken from unlocked vehicles parked at the condominium complex along Rudy-Serra Drive, police said.
